Waterdown ON – May 25, 2017 ArtsFest 2017 today announced the first round of headliners performing at this year’s free festival taking place on the streets of historic downtown Waterdown. The list of artists reads like a who’s who of popular Canadian musicians, and includes Juno Award winning best selling artists Natalie MacMaster & Donnell Leahy’s Celtic Kitchen Party, The Canadian Brass, Lunch At Allen’s featuring Murray McLauchlan, Ian Thomas, Marc Jordan & Cindy Church, Susan Aglukark, The Good Brothers, The Shuffle Demons, The Once, and The Mozart Effect Chamber Ensemble. “We are thrilled to present such an acclaimed mix of some of the most popular folk, jazz, classical & traditional country artists from Canada, to help celebrate our nations’ 150th birthday”, stated festival director Geoff Kulawick. “We will be announcing even more performers in the coming weeks, along with our feature visual artists, artisans, and children’s entertainers. ArtsFest Waterdown is a festival unlike any other – a celebration of culture and the arts & culture in all its forms.” Last year ArtsFest Waterdown drew over twenty thousand people from across Ontario and New York state to the picturesque community on the Niagara escarpment between Burlington & Hamilton.
